when you come to Indonesia, is incomplete if it did not enjoy traditional food and drinks here. in each district has special food and drink is typical, I do not know too detailed. I think, in some areas of food and beverages are look the same. it's just that what distinguishes them is the name of the food.
yep, now that I will discuss is the typical drink in the area of the island of Java. I certainly like it. people refer to this drink ice cendol, but in some places on the island of Java is better known as ice dawet.
dawet or cendol is known to be very refreshing beverage. dawet made from coconut milk, palm sugar, slices of jackfruit and its main ingredient is rice flour. This rice flour is commonly called sweet basil. There are two kinds cendol known in Indonesia, namely cendol cendol green and black. green cendol take natural dyes from pandan leaves. whereas the black comes from the juice cendol straw burned.
